Directions:
Slice the meat into strips no more than ΒΌ inch thick.
Combine all the ingredients, ensuring all the strips are coated, in a sealable bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Fahrenheit.
Drain the meat, blot dry and lay the slices on the oven racks.
Cook for 2 hours but do not close the door.
Check the jerky during cooking, it should be pliable and not snap and not be overly chewy.
When this has been achieved the jerky is ready to be stored in an airtight container until eaten.
